Gforce Sailing was established by Graham McCubbin, an experienced RYA Coach who has competed successfully at local, national and international level in a variety of classes. We offer coaching to individuals to improve racing skills and performance, and are also happy to travel to sailing clubs to deliver group training - please get in touch with us to discuss how we could help support you and your club. We can deliver coaching at your sailing club or at a mutally agreed venue.

SAILING CLUBS
Are you part of a sailing club and looking for something a little bit different to add to your training schedule? At Gforcesailing we can come along to your club and deliver water based coaching or shore based courses on topics such as tactics, strategy and boat tuning. ABOUT OUR COACHES
Graham McCubbin
Qualifications - RYA Senior Instructor, RYA Dinghy Racing Instructor, RYA Club Racing Coach and RYA Dinghy Instructor.
Graham has been sailing since the age of 8 and has sailed several different types of boats ranging from single handers, double handers and cruisers. He sailed and raced a Laser 1 for around 7 years and now sails and competes at national level in a Europe and 505.
He is a recognised RYA coach at both the Scottish and West Laser and Topper Squads. In this role and his voluntary role at Loch Earn Sailing Club he has contributed to the success of a number of young sailers who are now representing Scotland in a number of national and international events.
He has invested a lot of his own free time over the past few years coaching young laser sailors as well as being involved in setting up a regular training programme for young sailors at Loch Earn Sailing Club.
Graham has also been the instigator of a novel Weekend Training Camp at Loch Earn Sailing Club. The camp is run the weekend preceeding the Brown Cup, an annual event which involves sailors from Scottish Schools. This event has been running for 50 years, the training camp for 5 years. The event, has been supported by Skandia, local funders and the RYA.

Stuart McCubbin
Qualifications - RYA Dinghy Racing Instructor, RYA Club Racing Coach and RYA Dinghy Instructor.
Stuart has been sailing since he was 11 and has progressed through the Squad system, in Toppers and Lasers. He has coached the Topper West Squad and regularly coaches Toppers, Lasers, and 420s at the Weekend Training Camp at Loch Earn Sailing Club, prior to the annual Brown Cup. Stuart currently has an HND in sports coaching and is studying for a degree in sports development at the University of the West of Scotland.
